A much needed update!!!

I know I'm neglecting my poor blog, but there has been so much going on that I really haven't had the time to sit down and write a post!!! I have a kick-ass new computer at home now, so I'll start posting more often. The big news right now is Mom is moving to Houston this weekend to be with Stephenie and the grandkids. Since Sammy broke his neck, he needs constant care and supervision until he recovers. I'll be spending the next few days over there helping her pack, so that they can leave early Saturday. I have to pick up Steph and Alex from the airport Friday night, so that she can drive the moving van to Houston.

I'm in Good Hands!

The last two weeks I haven't posted much, because my new boss has been in the office training. I've been debating for months, as to whether I should stick around here or look for greener pastures. After spending these last two weeks getting to now my new boss, I have decided to stay put. He's turned out to be a cool guy, with a lot ethusiasm and great ideas for the agency. I really think he is going to be great to work for/with!

BTW.... did I mention that he's buying a high tech coffee maker for the office? My little caffine saturated heart is doing back flips!!!

I thought this made an interesting picture. I don't know if the limb was broken during the storm the night before, or by some of the kids that frequent that area. However it happened, it was still a little saddening to see such a large part of the tree die.

I snapped a couple of pics during the game Saturday. The nephews had a great time. They particularly liked the fireworks that went off everytime Frisco made a homerun. We all had a blast, and I even got another Frisco RoughRiders cap for my collection (I've gotten 5 different caps)!

My family and I are going to a minor league baseball game on Saturday. The Frisco RoughRiders are a great team. I've been to several of their games, and I really enjoying watching them play!

This will be the first time my nephews (9 and 7 yrs old) have ever been to a real baseball game. I can't wait!

Hanging out at karaoke last night, I snapped this pic of Darren! He's an absolute dahling and one of my favorite partners in crime. I hadn't seen him in a couple of months, and it was great getting to hang out with him again. We had a blast singing and dancing all night. I think the best part was getting JoAnn (his sister and one of my best friends) to mess up on her song. She's the HOST of the karaoke show, and we had her laughing so hard she couldn't sing! Now THAT'S entertainment!
