Sadness

 

Playing with fire

Can get you burned

But I hold on

Engulfed in the flames

The sun burning white hot

I'm finally warm

 

With the setting of the sun

The light fades to black

Darkness  settles in 

And a chill permeates every part of me

Never knowing when and if

The next dawn will come

 

He is my sunshine

My only sunshine

He makes my happy

When skies are gray

He'll never know

How much I love him
